Volkswagen Atlas

The Volkswagen Atlas SUV is getting an updated look for its 2024 model with a sportier design. The three-row SUV reached an updated look back in 2021. The Atlas and the Atlas Cross Sport have modern designs, with new and improved grilles, headlamps, and taillamps. Except for the base model, every trim has a lit-up VW logo spread across the grille.

This vehicle will also offer 18- to 21-inch wheel sizes to help support this larger SUV. The car’s interior has even bigger updates, including more excellent materials and accessible navigation features. Both the dashboard and console are surrounded by non-genuine leather, and the door panels have a nice plastic or wood finish.

All dashboards have a 12.0-inch infotainment screen and a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster. All systems come with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging. More features include a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a voice-activated automatic climate control system. The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport have one engine, a 269-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four and front-wheel-drive, and an option for all-wheel-drive. The Atlas can tow up to 5,000 lbs, the same as older models. The Atlas and the Atlas Cross Sport will go on sale sometime in 2023, but the pricing is still unknown.

Another Impressive Volkswagen SUV

There is a new Volkswagen manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN, home to the 2023 VW ID.4. The new ID.4 is an electric vehicle with many updated features. However, the design still sticks to loyal VW customers. Just because the ID.4 is an EV doesn’t mean it detracts from the original gas-powered VW look and feel. Any driver will notice the changes but will still know it’s keeping to the original roots of any Volkswagen vehicle.

New features for the ID.4 include a standard 12-inch infotainment screen, intelligent park assist, USB-C charging, new wheel designs, and more. Plug and Charge charging is available at Electrify America stations. The interior of the car has leather seats and door paneling with a high-quality instrument cluster. There are also buttons on the steering wheel, CarPlay, and Android Auto. The ID.4 comfortably accommodates up to five passengers and has good storage space. Higher trim models offer heated and cooled seats and a seat massage feature.

The vehicle’s exterior stays the same as last year’s model, plus a few added features, like park assist and Memory park functions. The most affordable car is the 62kWh entry-level ID.4, and the price starts at $37,495 (plus destination fee) and offers 209 miles of range and 201 horsepower. Another model is the ID.4 Pro, a RWD with an 82 kWh battery that has up to 275 miles of range for a cost of $42,495 (plus destination fee) and a 201 horsepower motor. Lastly, the ID.4 AWD Pro has 295 horsepower with 255 miles of range for $46,295 (plus destination fee).

The all-new 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and the Atlas Cross Sport have a sportier look, and customers can’t wait to get their hands on these impressive SUVs.
