Volkswagen ID.7 GTX Trim Coming Soon

Volkswagen is giving a glimpse into its newest flagship electric sedan, the ID.7 GTX. This new EV will have a new sporty look, more substantial power, and a dual-motor AWD system. The ID.7 is the biggest all-electric vehicle and has more power than any other MEB-based model out there. The electric sedan will be launched in North America, Europe, and China. The Volkswagen ID.7 has many impressive trim levels, but let’s focus on the new GTX trim.
The ID.7 GTX is the third model behind the ID.4 and ID.5 to get a GTX model. The interior will have red stitching on all the seats, dash panels, and doors to give it a sportier look and feel. This new model will showcase itself sometime in September.
More On The ID.7
It is common knowledge at this point that electric vehicles are the future of the automotive industry. Volkswagen is one of the first big-name car brands to grasp this concept by releasing the ID.4 electric SUV and ID.Buzz electric minivan. More electric vehicles have been added to the ID lineup recently, and now Volkswagen is ready to debut its next flagship electric car. The new ID.7 will be available in 2024 and will be powered by one electric motor producing 282 horsepower and getting 0-60 mph in 5 seconds.
The ID.7 gives the vehicle a fresh and sleek new design to make it look different from the ID.4. Feeling comfortable driving in the ID.7 is no problem because of its spaciousness. This is possible because the EV is a mix between a hatchback and a sedan, making the cargo space 18.3 cubic feet, and when the seats are folded down, the area grows to 47.8 cubic feet. This EV seats up to five passengers and gives passengers lots of head space.
Every control a driver needs is on the 15-inch screen in the center of the dashboard and has a heads-up display that shows up on the windshield. The seats are adjustable in 14 ways and provide cooling and heating features. Another nice thing is that the panoramic sunroof can turn the glass hazy with the click of a button.
The ID.7 offers two battery options: a 77.0 kWh battery that provides 382 miles of range and an 86.0 kWh battery that offers 435 miles of range. Every ID.7 will be built on the MEB platform and offers fast charging speeds, plus the ID.7 can be fully charged in 8 hours. The EV is powered by a single-motor rear-wheel drive system that gets 282 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque.
