Volkswagen is getting ready for the release of the all-new 2025 ID.Buzz electric van, but customers won’t be able to make reservations this time around. With making reservations in advance, it can cause complications and the Volkswagen brand doesn’t want to upset any customers if it doesn’t follow through nicely. It’s exciting to know that U.S. dealerships will be getting this retro van and customers are beyond thrilled.
The CEO of Volkswagen is working very hard to ensure that prices aren’t significantly raised for the ID.Buzz, especially for the three-row model that will be sold in North America. The ID.Buzz will be a great match for families that want a spacious interior, those who like roadtripping, and of course, for the nostalgic. There will be many new EVs coming to North America from the Volkswagen Group by 2030, just like the 2025 Volkswagen ID.7 electric sedan.
North American ID.Buzz
Volkswagen is beyond ready to release the North American version of the all-electric ID. Buzz and show off its added additions. The new three-row design adds two extra seats plus a 91-kWh battery to help power this larger van. As for the interior, most things stay the same, which includes a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.9-inch touchscreen.
The electric van will have eight USB-C ports so all passengers can charge their phones. The U.S. model has the biggest panoramic sunroof on any Volkswagen vehicle, which is 67.4 inches long. The North American ID. Buzz will hit local dealerships sometime in 2024 and will be an enjoyable ride for any fun adventure.

It is common knowledge at this point that electric vehicles are the future of the automotive industry. Volkswagen is one of the first big-name car brands to grasp this concept by releasing the ID.4 electric SUV and ID.Buzz electric minivan. More electric vehicles have been added to the ID lineup recently, and now Volkswagen is ready to debut its next flagship electric car. The new ID.7 will be available in 2024 and will be powered by one electric motor producing 282 horsepower and getting 0-60 mph in 5 seconds.
The ID.7 does a great job of giving the vehicle a fresh and sleek new design to make it look different from the ID.4. Feeling comfortable driving in the ID.7 is no problem because of its spaciousness. This is possible because the EV is a mix between a hatchback and a sedan, making the cargo space 18.3 cubic feet, and when the seats are folded down, the area grows to 47.8 cubic feet. This EV seats up to five passengers and gives passengers lots of head space.
Every control a driver needs is on the 15-inch screen in the center of the dashboard and has a heads-up display that shows up on the windshield. The seats are adjustable in 14 ways and provide cooling and heating features. Another nice thing is that the panoramic sunroof can turn the glass hazy with the click of a button.
The ID.7 offers two battery options: a 77.0 kWh battery that provides 382 miles of range and an 86.0 kWh battery that offers 435 miles of range. Every ID.7 will be built on the MEB platform and offers fast charging speeds; the ID.7 can be fully charged in 8 hours. The EV is powered by a single-motor rear-wheel drive system that gets 282 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque.
The Volkswagen ID.7 will cost around $55,000 (plus the destination fee) and come in four different trim levels. If customers like the Volkswagen Arteon, they will love the ID.7. The new ID.7 will be a little different from the Arteon because of its electric motor, and the interior will be made from recycled parts.
