New Updated Features Come To The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport

The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport gets a new and improved look for its interior and exterior. The new SUV comes with a more modern, sleeker, and sportier design, and customers can’t wait to get their hands on it. The Cross Sport model will differ slightly from the Atlas model because of its size and interior features.
A few more differences from the Atlas are how the Cross Sport interior has a sportier look, removes the plasticky interior vibe, and replaces it with leather seats and softer materials to give it a more luxurious feel. Another cool feature is how the cargo space is 40 cubic feet, even if the back seats are up. A significant difference between the two car models is that the 2024 Atlas is a three-row SUV, and the 2024 Cross Sport is only a two-row SUV. So, if anyone is looking for a smaller yet powerful two-row SUV, the 2024 Cross Sport is the way to go.
Atlas & Atlas Cross Sport
The Volkswagen Atlas SUV is getting an updated look for its 2024 model with a sportier design. The three-row SUV reached an updated look back in 2021. The Atlas and the Atlas Cross Sport have modern compositions, with new and improved grilles, headlamps, and taillamps. Except for the base model, every trim has a lit-up VW logo spread across the grille.
This vehicle will also offer 18- to 21-inch wheel sizes to help support this larger SUV. The car’s interior has even bigger updates, including excellent materials and accessible navigation features. The dashboard and console are surrounded by non-genuine leather, and the door panels have a friendly plastic or wood finish.
All dashboards have a 12.0-inch infotainment screen and a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster. All systems come with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging. More features include a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a voice-activated automatic climate control system. The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport have one engine, a 269-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four and front-wheel-drive, and an option for all-wheel-drive. The Atlas can tow up to 5,000 lbs, the same as older models.
Recently, Volkswagen stated that there will be a few updates for the 2024 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport. The 2024 Atlas will have a starting price of $39,075, and the 2024 Atlas Cross Sport will start at $38,065 (both vehicles will have a $1,350 destination fee). Some new features include ventilated front seats and a flexible passenger seat.
Volkswagen made six trim levels for the Atlas: SE, SE with Technology, Peak Edition SE with Technology, SEL, Peak Edition SEL, and SEL Premium R-Line. As for the Atlas Sport, it has five trims: SE, SE with Technology, SEL, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium R-Line. Another significant change for the 2024 Atlas is its new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that replaces the VR6. This new engine helps the SUV get 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The updated 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport have arrived at local dealerships.
