The 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 SUV Higher Trim Levels Receive Some Changes

When the $7,500 tax credit is added, the ID.4 will be one of the most affordable EVs. The Inflation Reduction Act sanctions the tax credit and has very specific rules that have to be followed for assembly, battery materials, and the supply chain. To qualify for the tax credit, the EV and its battery need to be sourced and built in North America or with an approved trade partner.

Another model is the ID.4 Pro which is a RWD that has an 82 kWh battery that has up to 275 miles of range for a cost of $42,495 (plus destination fee) and has a 201 horsepower motor. Lastly, the ID.4 AWD Pro has 295 horsepower with 255 miles of range for $46,295 (plus destination fee).
