With the “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” movie being out, another special vehicle will showcase itself in the movie, the Volkswagen ID.4. The Volkswagen marketing team and Volkswagen Japan teamed up with Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment to spread the word through social media by releasing three different clips to get the word out. This isn’t the first time the electric ID.4 is being debuted in a movie and it definitely won’t be the last because of how popular this SUV truly is.

With the release of Marvel Studios “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” on February 17, Volkswagen has decided to launch a campaign that showcases the ID.4 with custom features inspired by the new movie. Volkswagen is pleased to collaborate with Marvel Studios on a fantastic project by combining a popular film and vehicle. Here is what the Head of Global Brand Management and Consumer Insights at Volkswagen had to say about the project that involves the ID.4 and the movie.

2024 Volkswagen ID.4
Major updates come to the 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 interior, including more power and a better infotainment setup. The power increases are due to new motors from the ID.7 model; the most significant difference is the rear-wheel drive for the ID.4 car models. To prove this, the horsepower goes from 201 to 282, and the all-wheel-drive goes from 295 to 330 horsepower.
As for the infotainment, the upgrades also come from the ID.7 and improve the ID.4 immensely. It’s better customizable, the climate menu is easier to use, and the screen is now 12.9 inches with lit-up slider touch buttons. The new and improved Volkswagen ID.4 will be hitting dealerships soon and will be eligible for full federal tax credits, which is a significant plus for car buyers.
