Volkswagen Has Improved Features For The All-New ID.3

Volkswagen is ready to release the newest model of the ID.3 that comes with updated features, improved technology, and a brand new bumper. A huge bonus with the all-new ID.3 is that the interior design only comes from non-animal fabrics, recyclable materials, and an eco-friendly look. Many of these upgrades came from customer feedback, and Volkswagen took the feedback seriously and developed an improved car model. Volkswagen made charging much easier with the ID.3 because of the standard Plug & Charge.
“With the second generation of the ID.3, we are continuing the success story of our ID. family. The design has matured, and the materials in the interior have been significantly upgraded. The new ID.3 demonstrates our clear commitment to quality, design, and operability, and we have systematically taken on board the wishes of our customers.” -Imelda Labbé, Member of the Board of Management for Sales, Marketing, and After Sales at Volkswagen.
More Info On The ID.3
Volkswagen will be debuting the new ID.3 to the public in the spring (of 2023); this will be the second-generation ID.3, the most recent ID model. Currently, over half a million ID models have been distributed to customers worldwide, which is no surprise because there is a high demand for fully electric compact cars.
The ID.3 comes with the latest software update and an upgraded standard equipment package that shows a display of diagonal measurements of 12 inches, a removable luggage compartment floor, and a center console with two cup holders. To make the charging more convenient for the ID.3, there is a Plug & Charge, an Electric Vehicle Route Planner to help make things easier. Volkswagen uses the most recent generation of an integrated assist system for the ID.3 and Travel Assist with Swarm Data and Park Assist plus Memory Function. Volkswagen says that the ID.3 pro models Life, Business, Style, Max, and ID.3 Pro S model Tour will be distributed to customers around the fourth quarter of 2023.
ID.3 SUV
There are big plans in the works for Volkswagen because there will be a new electric SUV in North America. This exciting news comes after production started on the new ID.4, which is being made at its plant in Tennessee. Recently, Volkswagen released a smaller compact electric SUV than the ID.4. It’s unclear where this new EV will be made, but a good guess would be the updated MEB+ platform.
The Volkswagen brand has yet to release what the following vehicle will be in their lineup, but it could be the ID.3 SUV which the VW brand CEO, Thomas Schafer, has mentioned in the past before. A goal is to have ten new EVs by 2026, including a compact SUV based on the ID.3 hatchback. The ID.3 SUV is set to look very different from the ID.3.
