Volkswagen ID.7 EV Gets More Than 300 Miles Of Range

Volkswagen recently revealed its new electric sedan that gets over 300 miles of range to its ID lineup. The new ID.7 flagship EV will be added to an impressive all-electric lineup, and customers won’t be disappointed with this new sedan. This sedan is more prominent in size and has a particular hatchback design that permits more headroom for the back seats. All base models will have a 77 kWh battery with 382 miles of range.
The interior will have a large touchscreen with up-to-date technology to keep up with Tesla models. There will be an auto-dimming sunroof that can be managed with voice commands. All production of the all-new Volkswagen ID.7 in Europe will begin in the second half of 2023. Production in China will start at the end of the year (2023), and for North America, the ID.7 will arrive sometime in 2024 at local dealerships.
ID.7 Air Conditioning System
A big part of any vehicle is the air conditioning system, and the Volkswagen ID.7 takes it a bit further by having a specific system in place. The ID.7 will have an air conditioning system that achieves speedier cooling or heating even before the driver arrives. The air vents in the vehicle are electronically powered, and air will flow inside as soon as the driver gets closer while holding the key. Another cool feature of this new air conditioning system is that it responds to voice commands and analyzes the position of the sun and also what the driver prefers.
Once the car doors open and it’s hot out, the smart air vents push cold air quickly throughout the vehicle’s interior. Passengers seated in the car can position the air vents to blow air onto their bodies or can be moved to cool the area of the vehicle. The ID.7 is the very first Volkswagen model to have such a smart control system. The function for climate control can be found on the all-new 15-inch infotainment touchscreen display. The direction of the air vents and strength can be modified and saved per person.
If the driver’s hands are cold, they can use a voice command to heat the steering wheel for about five minutes. The ID.7 will be the sixth model in the electric ID lineup for Volkswagen. It follows behind the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, and ID.6 and is the second global vehicle from Volkswagen to be built on the MEB platform.
Volkswagen Reaches Its Goal
Volkswagen has big plans to make its whole vehicle lineup all-electric, reaching a considerable accomplishment of 500,000 EV deliveries a year early. There will be ten new EV models planned to go out for delivery by 2026. Volkswagen wants to utilize the growing EV demand to advance its global electrification strategy. The Volkswagen Group continues to progress in accomplishing its goals, and the demand for these EVs is strong since customers can’t get enough.
