Volkswagen ID.7 Interior

There are many great features about the Volkswagen ID.7 vehicle, but a feature that stands out is how comfortable the seats are for this model. The interior offers ergoActive premium seats designed in collaboration with orthopedic specialists, physiotherapists and sports scientists to make it more comfortable and better for the passengers. These may be the best seats in the automotive world, and also include features like massage capabilities, automatic air conditioning, and activation features for specific muscle groups.

Volkswagen put in two extra air cushions to help relax the back muscles while riding inside. The ergoActive premium seats can be adjusted on the seat itself or on the vehicle’s touchscreen and can be saved per person. Let’s take a look into the 2025 ID.7 model to see what else it has to offer.

2025 Volkswagen ID.7

A new vehicle joining the ID lineup is the 2025 Volkswagen ID.7 electric sedan and it’s one to be excited for. The ID.7 will be manufactured on a bigger version of the MEB platform, and the size of this new sedan will be similar to the Honda Accord. There will be a 77.0-kWh battery to power the electric motor used in the ID.4 higher-trim levels. The motor produces 282 horsepower, 402 lb-ft of torque, and a more improved cooling system.

There should be plenty of room for two rows of seats, a higher roof, plenty of legroom, and a larger cargo space in the back. A significant change compared to the ID.4 is the 15.0-inch display screen for the ID.7, which should please any driver. Other cool features include smart air vents, an optional sunroof, and massaging seats. There is no exact release date for the 2025 ID.7 yet, but it should be sometime in 2024.

ID.7 Air Conditioning System

A big part of any vehicle is the air conditioning system, and the Volkswagen ID.7 takes it a bit further by having a specific system in place. The ID.7 will have an air conditioning system that achieves speedier cooling or heating even before the driver arrives. The air vents in the vehicle are electronically powered, and air will flow inside as soon as the driver gets closer while holding the key. Another cool feature of this new air conditioning system is that it responds to voice commands and analyzes where the position of the sun and also what the driver prefers.

Passengers seated in the car can position the air vents to blow air onto their bodies or can be moved to cool the area of the car. Currently, the ID.7 is the very first Volkswagen model to have such a smart control system. The function for climate control can be found on the all-new 15-inch infotainment touchscreen display. The direction of the air vents and strength can be modified and saved per person.

If the driver’s hands are cold, they can use a voice command to heat the steering wheel for about five minutes. The ID.7 will be the sixth model in the electric ID lineup for Volkswagen. It follows behind the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, and ID.6 and is the second global vehicle from Volkswagen to be built on the MEB platform. The hope is that the ID.7 will debut in the second quarter of 2023 for China and Europe, and North America will come after in 2024.
